NSEP Fellowships enable U.S. graduate students to add an
important international dimension to their education by providing support for
overseas study and limited domestic tuition to students who will pursue the
study of languages, cultures, and world regions deemed critical to U.S. national
security. Excluded is study of
Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Fellowships are awarded in a broad range of disciplines
including business, economics, applied sciences and engineering, history,
international affairs, law, political science, and other social sciences.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens to apply.
Deadline: January 16, 2001.

Name of Fellowship: Emory Minority Graduate Fellowship
(EMGF)
The EMGF covers all tuition and direct educational costs for
five years and provides an annual stipend of $15,000. The EMGF competition is open to first-time applicants
entering doctoral study at Emory. Awards
are given solely on the basis of merit and are renewed each year contingent upon
satisfactory academic performance.
Eligibility Requirements: Minority applicants must be U.S.
citizens or permanent residents and must be pursuing a Ph.D. degree.
How to Apply: Submit
an application for admission to any Ph.D. program in the Graduate School of Arts
and Sciences at Emory.
Application Deadline: January
